Officer Hite Benefit
Hi all,
I attended a meeting last night that was organizing the benefit car show for the family of Officer Hite. Here are some of the particulars about the show.
Show will be held at TCC on August 30, which is the Saturday before Labor Day.
It is a benefit and there will be no entry fee, just a donation for entering your car(s). There will be no pre-registration.
The show will run from 5 - 9 pm.
Cars will be judged and trophies awarded. No details on classes of cars. Cars will be assigned classes when they register on the day of the show.
There will be jumping castles for the children.
Food will be available.
There will be a 50-50 drawing, raffle prizes and door prizes.
Flyers will be out soon. I hope to have some for the next club meeting.
They need volunteers.
If clubs want to park their cars together then we have to notify the organizers and tell them how many cars. The cars will have to enter together.
I attended the meeting as a private individual and made it clear I was not representing the Classic Chevy Club. I did agree to present the information at our next meeting.
