About Us
Who We Are & What We Do
The Classic Chevy Club of Tucson is a non-profit Arizona corporation and affiliated member of Classic Chevy International. We are a 501(c)(7) social club dedicated to the restoration, preservation, and display of 1955-1972 Chevrolet automobiles. The club consists of more than 65 families with over 80 vehicles. We participate in car shows, cruises, rallies, and social events throughout the year and have a lot of fun.
We also give back to our community by hosting two fund raising events each year. The first is our own Chevy Showdown on the last Saturday in April. A portion of the proceeds goes directly to the Tucson Community Food Bank in the form of monetary and food donations. The other event is the Toys For Tucson's Kids toy drive in December, which benefits Casa de los Niños and the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern Arizona.
Club Events
Each month we have a club event which is either a car show, a cruise to a local diner, breakfast at a local restaurant, or something else fun and engaging. We also have an annual picnic which is fun for members and their families. Check the calendar for upcoming events. Join us for horseshoes, games, BBQ & classic Chevys!
Membership
The membership dues are $25 per calendar year per family. New members joining after July 1st only pay $15. Download and complete the membership registration form and mail it in or bring it to our next meeting.
Meetings
Our monthly meetings take place every third Tuesday at O'Rielly Chevrolet on Broadway & Wilmot at 7:00pm. We meet to discuss upcoming and past shows, club progress, and to plan events. Afterward, if you're up for it, we congregate at Little Anthony's Diner for ice cream and conversation.
